Home-School Field Trip to a regional location
These are some pics (images photos) of our recent Home-School Field Trip to a regional location. In between the snowstorms and Nor-easters, we were able to go on a short travel. We visited the Poughkeepsie Waryas Park. It is in the City of Poughkeepsie, NY. It is at the base of the historic "Franklin D. Roosevelt Bridge" over the Hudson River. The park is a nice location with great recreation for the children to play. The park is right alongside the Hudsron River, so it is a riverside attraction. It's worth the visit. Have a good time there. As we did. Maybe we will meet you there!
Our HomeSchool is studying Volcanoes!
HomeSchool is a great place to study interesting ideas and answer good questions. We always want to learn about the world we live in. The planet has a lot of volcanoes. We know about those! It's dangerous stuff. Even in Minecraft, there are lava flows! So where exactly are the volcanoes? We can start to know by studying maps of the volcanoes, especially the currently active ones!! Source: VolcanoDiscovery This study tool for our Civilogy Home-School is provided from https://www.volcanodiscovery.com/ HomeSchool of Civilogy a/k/a Civilogia. For the complete study of civilization. Approved by Peter Tasciotti, a former dropout of Spackenkill High School.
